Vasiliy Korotchenko is currently a drug product quality assessor in the in the Division of Product Quality Assessment IV at the Office of Pharmaceutical Quality within the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). In his position, Vasiliy is responsible for assessing drug product quality of abbreviated new drug applications (ANDAs) and responding to pre-ANDA meeting requests and Controlled Correspondences. Vasiliy received his Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from the Lomonosov Moscow State University. Prior to joining the FDA, Vasiliy worked as a medicinal and organic chemist in academia (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, University of Pittsburgh) and government service (Walter Reed Army Institute of Research).
