Steven Gonzalez is an associate at Hyman, Phelps, and McNamara, a boutique law firm focused on FDA regulation and related practice areas relevant to regulated industries. While he advises clients on a broad range of pre- and post-market regulatory and compliance issues under the Food, Drug & Cosmetics Act, Steven focuses on medical devices, combination products, and tissue-based products. Steven also provides regulatory counsel for corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and public and private securities offerings involving FDA-regulated companies. Prior to joining Hyman, Phelps, and McNamara, Steven was an associate in the FDA regulatory practice at Ropes & Gray, a large international law firm. Steven received his undergraduate degree in Philosophy from the University of California, Santa Barbara and his J.D. from Harvard Law School. While in law school, Steven assisted pro bono clients as part of the Harvard Food Law and Policy Clinic and was the President of the Harvard Food Law Society.
