Sruthi King earned her Ph.D. in pharmacology from Georgetown University and completed postdoctoral training at Stanford University in the Department of Dermatology. Sruthi joined the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in 2008 as a pharmacologist in the Division of Gastroenterology and Inborn Error Products within the Office of New Drugs and in 2015, joined OGD as a Pharm/Tox team leader in the Division of Clinical Review. Sruthi now serves as Deputy Director in the Division of Pharmacology/Toxicology Review in the Office of Safety and Clinical Evaluation within the OGD. Sruthi has been a member of the CDER nitrosamine task force for the past four and half years and serves on several working groups with international regulators to harmonize approaches related to nitrosamine safety assessments.
