Sruthi King earned her Ph.D. in pharmacology from Georgetown University and completed postdoctoral training at Stanford University in the Department of Dermatology. After 7 years as a pharmacologist in the Office of New Drugs, she joined OGD as a Pharm/Tox team leader in 2015. Since 2021, Sruthi has been serving as Deputy Director in the Division of Pharmacology/Toxicology Review in the Office of Safety and Clinical Evaluation within the OGD. Sruthi is actively involved in CDER’s nitrosamine review, policy and research efforts. In addition to representing FDA on working groups with international regulators, Sruthi now also serves on the expert working group as FDA topic lead for the nitrosamines addendum to ICH M7.
