Shashi Kant Tiwari is “Head of Analytical research for API & Formulations” at Biocon Limited. He is an accomplished analytical research professional with about 30 years of experience in the industry at some of major pharmaceutical Generics. Shashi leads the scientific teams of Biocon Analytical research group. His experience is spread across various kinds of API’s ranging from Synthetic API’s, Oncological API’s, Fermentation based API’s, complexes carbohydrates, Low molecular weight Heparins and Peptides.  His Formulation experience also cuts across range of dosages like  Tablets , Capsules to Complex injectables, Ophthalmic products and Inhalation products.  Wide range of products has resulted him in getting  expertise in complex characterization and various instrumentation techniques during his tenure in companies like Biocon, Mylan, Wockhardt and Ranbaxy. He has done Masters in Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
