Dr. Raveendra Pai has with over 23 years of experience in the field of Generic Formulation Development across the globe. He holds a Master’s in Pharmacy from Manipal College of Pharmacy and earned his PhD from Jaipur National University in India.

Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Formulation Development at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd. in Mumbai, Dr. Pai has held prominent roles in renowned pharmaceutical companies. Prior to his current position, he was associated with Mylan Research Laboratories in Hyderabad from 2009 to 2015, Ranbaxy Research Laboratories in Gurgaon from 2004 to 2009, and Zydus Cadila Ltd. in Ahmedabad from 2001 to 2004.

Dr. Pai’s work specialization encompasses Generic Formulation Development for various global markets, including the US, EU, CA, AU, Japan, and ROW. His expertise spans multiple dosage forms, including Respiratory (PMDI, DPI, Nasal spray, Nebulizer), Oral solids/liquids, complex generics, and Injectables.

Throughout his career, Dr. Pai has earned recognition for his contributions to the pharmaceutical industry. He has been awarded the FDD Raising Star of the Year in 2018, and he also serves as an Adjunct Visiting Faculty at Manipal College of Pharmacy in Manipal. Dr. Pai’s dedication to the field is further exemplified by his role as an Industrial Co-guide to PhD scholars and his contributions to a book on Pharmaceutical Market Compliance with real-time examples.
