Rajeev Mathur is the Senior Vice President & Head – Global Regulatory and Business Continuity and Heads Global Pharmacovigilance at Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited (Sun Pharma).

At Sun Pharma, Rajeev oversees regulatory operations for Actives and Drug Products for global markets and provides regulatory support to operations as a part of business continuity. In addition, he also leads Global Pharmacovigilance.

Rajeev is a post graduate in Pharmaceutics & a gold medallist from Delhi University, India and has extensive experience in Development of dosage forms and in the area of Regulatory operations. He has a vast exposure to global agencies including FDA, USA; EMA, HPRA, Ireland; MHRA, UK; TGA, Australia; MHLW, Japan; HSA, Singapore; ANVISA, Brazil; TPD, Canada; SAPHRA, South Africa; CDSCO, India and is focussed on delivering regulatory excellence to the organization through partnership with regulatory authorities.

He believes FDA and Sun share common objectives of making high quality medicines accessible to the patient.

Rajeev foresees regulatory organization as a strategic partner to R&D and operations and believes in being business enabler with focus on documentation & compliance.

His other interest includes Indian classical music, fitness and reading. He learns and plays on the sitar in his free time.
