Dr Rachel Goode serves as Senior Vice President, Head of Legal and Intellectual Property at Fresenius Kabi Biopharmaceuticals, where she leads a global team of in-house attorneys and oversees the patent and legal strategy for the company’s biosimilars business.

She has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and has testified before the U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary, advocating for reforms to the patent system that would support timely access to generic drugs and biosimilars.

Prior to joining Fresenius Kabi, Rachel held key legal roles at Teva, where she served as in-house counsel for the biosimilars division, and at EMD Serono, where she was the Patents Lead for several biosimilar products.

Rachel is licensed to practice law in Washington, D.C., and is also a registered patent attorney in both the United Kingdom and Europe. She holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, bringing deep scientific expertise to her legal leadership.
