Martin Shimer joined Lachman Consultant Services in July 2022 and is the Executive Director of the Regulatory Services practice. Prior to joining Lachman, Martin worked for the FDA’s Office of Generic Drugs for 22 years beginning his career as a Consumer Safety Officer in what is now the Division of Filing Review and ending as the Deputy Director of the Division of Legal and Regulatory Support. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Maryland and has extensive knowledge of FDA’s review process as well as the legal and regulatory requirements applicable to ANDAs.
