Chad A. Landmon chairs the Hatch-Waxman & Biologics practice group at Polsinelli. Chad’s practice uniquely combines his litigation experience with a deep understanding of navigating the complex FDA regulatory landscape. He serves as first chair trial counsel in patent disputes while also handling FDA citizen petitions and APA litigation involving marketing exclusivities, patent listings, bioequivalence, labeling and other critical FDA approval issues. Chad has litigated dozens of Hatch-Waxman patent cases in the District of New Jersey, handling all phases of a case from inception through trial. In addition, he regularly represents clients on appeal before the Federal Circuit, where he has argued numerous Hatch-Waxman cases. He works with clients spanning pharmaceuticals, biologics, medical devices and human tissue products with billions of dollars in annual sales. Chad also manages cases involving the cross-section of antitrust and patent law, particularly those arising from settlements of patent disputes and Hatch-Waxman Act exclusivity disputes. Chad is recognized among the world’s leading patent litigators by IAM Patent 1000, Benchmark Litigation and Law360. Chad graduated, with honors, from the University of Connecticut School of Law and is admitted to the Connecticut and District of Columbia Bar.
