CDR Lana Rossiter received her PhD in organic chemistry from the University of Oregon in 1998. After completing a postdoctoral fellowship at Eli Lilly, she worked for 12 years in industry in medicinal and process chemistry research.  CDR Rossiter joined FDA in 2011 and currently is a supervisory project manager in CDER in the Office of Pharmaceutical Quality. She and her staff support quality review of premarket and postmarket applications for both NDA and ANDA submissions.
