Bostjan Petek, MPharm, is a Scientific Advisor at Sandoz with more than 20 years of experience in generic drug development. His expertise includes biopharmaceutics, dissolution method development, comparative dissolution testing, in vitro–in vivo correlation (IVIVC), drug-release specification setting, and the interpretation of dissolution data in support of product development, bioequivalence and regulatory submissions. He has led and contributed to interdisciplinary development projects, the implementation of innovative analytical approaches, and the digitalisation and automation of scientific data workflows. Boštjan is a recipient of the Sandoz Scientific Excellence Award and has contributed to several pharmaceutical patent applications. He holds a Master of Pharmacy degree from the University of Ljubljana.
