Beena joined the Division of Bioequivalence Process Management (DBPM) in 2017 as a Regulatory Health Project Manager. She has expertise in regulatory and organizational management. She manages high complexity and heavy volume of generic drug applications and other submissions with bioequivalence data . She partners and collaborates with other offices to ensure timely approvals of life saving generic products. Additionally, Beena leads multiple workgroups to improve processes within the Office of Bioequivalence. Prior to serving in the FDA, Beena received her Doctor of Pharmacy from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and began her career after residency, as a clinical pharmacist in hospital setting.
