Andy is a graduate of the Toronto Metropolitan University with a BSc. in Applied Chemistry and Biology with 28 years of industry experience. Andy began his pharma career in 1997 at Apotex Inc., as a QC chemist eventually progressing into the R&D laboratories. Transitioning into Regulatory Affairs in 2005, Andy was responsible for filing Apotex marketing authorization applications, for oral solid dose products, into EU, Australian and ASEAN markets, subsequently progressing to file market applications into Canada in 2008 and USA in 2011, while collaborating with global external partners, to drive regulatory filings for multiple dosage forms such as sterile powders or liquid filled vials, pre-filled syringes, and topical solutions. Currently, Andy is the Manager for Liquids & Specialty Dosage products at Apotex, responsible for managing the regulatory activities for liquid dose products, such as ophthalmic, oral suspensions and nasal sprays.
